Soft skills are a combination of people skills, social skills, communication skills, character traits, attitudes, career attribute, social intelligence and emotional intelligence quotients among others that enable people to navigate their environment, work well with others, perform well, and achieve their goals in life.

What we teach in Soft Skills:

Creative Thinking
Critical and creative thinking are integral to activities that require students to think broadly and deeply using skills, behaviours and dispositions such as reason, logic, resourcefulness, imagination and innovation in all learning areas at school and in their lives beyond school

The act of introducing a new idea, device or method.

Problem Solving
The process of finding solutions to difficult or complex issues.

Effective Communication
This is a key interpersonal skill; and learning how we can improve our communication has many benefits. Communication is a two way process, so improving communication involves both how we send and receive messages

Health & Hygiene
Children can sometimes be careless when it comes to personal health and hygiene. Teaching your children to have a healthy hygiene routine when they're young can create good habits that last throughout their lives.

The ability of an individual or a group of individuals to influence and guide followers or other members of an organization towards actualizing goals.

Sex Education
This is instruction on issues relating to human sexuality, including emotional relations and responsibilities, human sexual anatomy, sexual activity, sexual reproduction, age of consent, reproductive health, reproductive rights, safe sex, birth control and sexual abstinence

This is generally considered an altruistic activity where an individual or group provides services for no financial gain "to benefit another person, group or organization". Volunteering is also renowned for skill development and is often intended to promote goodness or to improve human quality of life.

Positive Attitude
A Positive Attitude Leads to Success and Happiness. It helps you cope more easily with the daily affairs of life. It brings optimism into your life, and makes it easier to avoid worries and negative thinking.

Hard Work
We hear that we should work hard, that hard work pays off, and that hard workers get ahead or can overcome otherwise impossible obstacles and challenges. So what does hard work mean? Hard work is diligence in labour and putting efforts into doing and completing tasks.

The ability to control one's feelings and overcome one's weaknesses.

This talk tries to follow Malcolm Gladwell's 10,000 hour rule, which says that it takes roughly 10,000 hours of practice to achieve mastery in any field. Examples are sighted of successful people around the world who had put in at least 10,000 hours of practice to become experts that they are.

Human Rights
Human rights are rights inherent to all human beings, whatever our nationality, place of residence, sex, national or ethnic origin, colour, religion, language, or any other status. We are all equally entitled to our human rights without discrimination. These rights are all interrelated, interdependent and indivisible.

Employability Skills
Transferable skills needed by an individual to make him/her 'employable'. Along with good technical understanding and subject knowledge, employers often outline a set of skills that they want from an employee.

Presentation Skills
Presenting information clearly and effectively is a key skill to get your message or opinion across and, today, presentation skills are required in almost every field.

Faithful adherence to a sovereign government, leader, cause, etc.

Anger Management
Anger is "an emotional state that varies in intensity from mild irritation to intense fury and from rage to aggression," This training is meant to help children understand and control anger.

Critical thinking
Critical thinking comprises a number of different skills that help us learn to make decisions. It is the ability to evaluate information to determine whether it is right or wrong. To think critically about an issue or a problem means to be open-minded and consider alternative ways of looking at solutions.

Study Skills
These are approaches applied to learning. They are generally critical to success in school, considered essential for acquiring good grades, and useful for learning throughout one's life.

The quality of being honest and having strong moral principles that you refuse to change

The quality of being friendly, generous, and considerate.

Belief and confidence in one's own ability and value.

Decision Making
The action or process of making important decisions.

Financial Literacy
This is the ability to understand how money works in the world: how someone manages to earn or make it, how that person manages it, how he/she invests it (turn it into more) and how that person donates it to help others.

Time Management
Learn how to get the most from your day using prioritization, scheduling, goal setting, and other key time management skill

The quality of being patriotic; vigorous support for one's country.
