Through arts and crafts, children learn to express their imagination – giving them freedom to explore their ideas. Art encourages a child to experiment with different materials and invent new methods and techniques to achieve a certain outcome. This not only makes for young inventors and scientists, but boosts their self confidence in taking on future tasks – a crucial life skill. Important life tools which art also encourage are problem-solving and the persistence to complete a task, despite some frustrations or setbacks during the process.

The creative arts are often thought of as unimportant, and are frequently the first programs to be cut when funds are low. However, the creative arts not only cultivate children's imaginations, so that they become more flexible and inventive thinkers, but also help to develop their physical, emotional, and mental capabilities. As such, it is imperative that we work to integrate greater chances for young children to engage in the creative arts, for such measures will provide the foundation for later success.

According to researchers, the creative arts also foster the development of children's cognitive abilities. Exploring and participating in creative play triggers the use of kids' imagination, which in turn stimulates and expands their mental capacities.

STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) Skills development encourages innovation and fresh ideas. It creates meaningful and deep learning experiences and also helps in creating future problem solvers.

STEM is important because it pervades every part of our lives. Science deals with discoveries in our present world. Technology is continuously solving problems in every aspect of our lives. Engineering deals with production from our creative ideas. Mathematics is in our everyday activities.

Our STEM Skills activities focus on experimental and hands-on learning, which enables us to bring out the best talents in our children. Hands-on learning helps make our children understand the traditionally boring subjects much better and help to cultivate a passion towards them.

Creative Holiday aims to create an ecosystem to nurture creativity and innovation of young inquisitive minds through hands-on, experiential & application based learning.
